About this project

Crumbs Brewing are sustainable craft brewery situated in Wellington, NZ. They make beer and ale out of surplus bread which would otherwise go to landfill and be wasted. The wanted to stay clear of anything too illustrated and rely more on typography.

Their demographic are young professionals with an expendable income. Those that appreciate good food and even better beer.

The logo

It was important to create a logo with connections to bread. After exploring different bread related imagery I landed with a breadclip. Breadclips have an interesting and peculiar shape, but it’s still very recongizable as a bread related

The typeface is soft, like bread, but also bold and confident so symbolize dedication to their cause.
