About this project

This challenge was to make a poster that depicts disability as neither postive or negative but as a part of our beautifully diverse humanity.

I started this challenge with clarifyng what kind of messege I want to send. “Everyone is needed and together we make something beautful” became my first conceptual block and from there I explored different ways to translate that graphically.

I landed with patchwork textiles - as it’s something human made, consists of many parts that make up the whole, and can be seen made as an art form.
